Mole[]

Could someone please add that his beta version, Mole, has a mole next to his nose wich gives him his nickname? I would do it myself, but my English isn't fluent enought. --{{SUBST:Usuario:Platybus/Firma2}} 02:05, October 15, 2015 (UTC)

Looks like Jeff added it in. Soda (Talk) 01:07, October 16, 2015 (UTC)

Second in Command[]

While not flat out confirmed in-game, I actually like to believe Melvin is indeed the second in command of the Nerds. As stated on the page there are some lines of dialogue hinting that he is the second in command, and his page states he can't be hired, although that one I'm unsure about. Also, saying that Earnest rules the clique with a rod of iron does not imply he has no second in command, as according to a google search of the definition of "ruling with a rod of iron," it simply means it is ruled in a strict and cruel way, not that it is ruled by one person alone. While game data files are not always accurate, the game files calling him the second in command, combined with the fact that he seems to have more standing in the clique than other Nerds, I think is enough evidence to call him the second in command. This is unlike the Bullies, which have no implication of any second in command whatsoever, especially since the Nerds have 9 members and the Bullies only have 7. I think it would be appropriate to edit Template:NerdsNav to add him as the second in command, and place him under Earnest in the Characters list. Although this is only my opinion, and as always it is your choice. R34l R1ch4rd N1x0n (talk) 19:33, 7 October 2022 (UTC)

Although you have a point that the article is giving more weight to the 'iron rod' thing, I don't think there's anything in the game that indicates Melvin as a 2nd in command, whereas for the others (Bif, Peanut, Damon and Omar) there is, so I don't think we should say that. The article already states that the data files and strategy guide say he's 2nd in command, I think that's sufficient. Jeff (talk·stalk) 21:57, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
Omar is the only one I recall being flat out called a "right hand man" which means second in command. Damon and Bif are indicated as second in commands by how often they're seen with the leader and how close they are, but Peanut is only implied as a second in command through some lines of dialogue about how close he is with Johnny. It almost seems like Norton has more standing than Peanut, even having his own boss fight. Melvin is a quite similar situation to Peanut, being implied through lines of dialogue, although they're far less noticeable than ones regarding Peanut, and Melvin also doesn't play as big of a role as Peanut either, so I understand what you mean. It's also quite possible that he is intended to be the second in command, and may have played a bigger role as a second in command originally, but that it didn't make it to the final game, as we both know there's a lot of things that were cut.
We don't need to mark Melvin as the definite second in command, but do you think it would be appropriate to remove the mention of "rod of iron" implying there's no second in command from the Nerds page and Melvin's page? Since I discovered the actual definition of that phrase? R34l R1ch4rd N1x0n (talk) 22:30, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
