Preps[]
In-game they are simply called "Preps" not "preppies" (except for one or two instances) File:Rollbackcrown.PNG Kudos 2 U Talk! Edit count! Contribs! 01:31, 24 December 2008 (UTC).
- Their clique name is Preppies, Preps is another phrase for Preppies. Just like Prep is another way of saying Preppy. Dan the Man 1983 11:36, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
Note about bike stealing.[]
Please do not add that the Preppies steal bikes from Jimmy for no reason. Every clique member can do this to Jimmy. I had a Nerd do it to me a few times, lets just say he did not last long haha. Dan the Man 1983 05:30, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Aggressive Preppies[]
It might be a glitch, but sometimes when I hang out around the outside of Harrington house (I'm on Chapter 4, Preppy respect is 100%, and I make Jimmy wear an Aquaberry shirt.), strangely, sometimes 1 or 2 of the Preppies are angry at Jimmy and threaten Jimmy. I do absolutely nothing to provoke them. Almost every time it's Parker, sometimes it's Justin or Byrce, and very rarely it's a different Prep. The angry Preppy insults or pushes Jimmy. This is Bully: SE for xbox 360 I'm talking about. Has anyone else experianced this glitch?GSFOG14 12:10, June 25, 2012 (UTC)
Accent[]
I hate to be the pedantic Brit, but I changed British accent to English accent as there is no such thing as a British accent. There are numerous different regional accents in the UK and British can refer to English, Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish. Can't believe it slipped my mind all these years I've been on this wiki. - Not pedantic at all, remember the arguments over whether Lefty had a New York or a Chicago accent? Jeff (talk·stalk) 08:35, August 25, 2019 (UTC)
Preppy or Preppie[]
I've always spelled it Preppy and always thought this was the proper spelling. But Jeff, I noticed you reverted an edit of someone changing "Preppie" to "Preppy." While I actually don't remember which spelling is used in the game, if either are ever used to begin with, Preppy seems to make more sense to me, and a quick Google search indicates that Preppy is more common than Preppie. It also appears that this wiki is inconsistent on which spelling it uses, as some places say Preppy whereas others say Preppie. Additionally, Preppy redirects to Preppies, but Preppie does not. My question is, which spelling should be used?
- According to Dictionary.com, although preppy is more common, preppie is acceptable. It doesn't appear to be a British English vs American English either, and we don't have a rule on 'which spelling to use for a word when multiple spellings are acceptable' so I'm going with "if it was in the very first version of the article it was fine and doesn't need to be changed."
